Position Description:
A growing law firm is seeking a Practice Assistant to provide a high level of administrative support to a leading Partner in the New York office. This role will involve managing a very active calendar, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements in a fast-paced environment. This individual will be responsible for generating a variety of litigation documents, correspondence, and reports, organizing materials for upcoming meetings, and alerting the attorney of any outstanding business. The Practice Assistant will also be tasked with communicating with clients, serving as a gatekeeper to the Partner, and tracking the attorney’s billable hours.
Required Skills:
This position requires at least three years of experience working in an administrative capacity for a high level legal professional. The qualified candidate will demonstrate the ability to work well in a high-pressure setting, proficiency multitasking effectively, and exceptional communication, organization, and project management skills. The Practice Assistant must be a team player who can quickly adjust to changing demands and apply a detail-oriented approach.
Annual Salary (US$): 80,000-100,000 /annual
