Position Description:
A top-rated law firm is seeking to add an accounting professional to the team as a Billing Coordinator. The Billing Coordinator will perform tasks such as preparing client invoices, generating billing reports, and ensuring compliance with policies, as well as managing electronic billing. This individual will communicate regularly with attorneys and legal assistants to resolve billing discrepancies and discuss outstanding billing matters. The Billing Coordinator will also ensure the accuracy and completeness of billing data, including time entries, expenses, and disbursements.
Position Requirements:
The firm seeks a qualified candidate with three or more years of experience in legal billing, electronic invoicing, and compliance with client billing guidelines. A bachelor’s degree in an accounting related field is preferred. This individual will possess excellent communication, organizational, and analytical thinking skills. The Billing Coordinator should also be detail-oriented with the ability to streamline billing processes and maintain confidentiality.
