Position Description:
A prominent law firm is seeking a Conflicts Counsel to join the New York office. The successful candidate will have a robust understanding of legal ethics and conflicts partnered with a professional sense of responsibility. The position will require the prompt evaluation and resolution of potential conflicts of interests, and the ability to advise other professionals on similar matters. Other responsibilities include drafting documents such as waiver agreements and screening memoranda, as well as handling risk management affairs.
Required Skills:
The firm is seeking an attorney with at least two years of conflicts experience in a law firm setting; this person must be a member of the New York Bar Association. The successful candidate must demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication skills, an ability to anticipate firm needs, and strong research, problem-resolution, and analytical thinking abilities. This person must also be well-versed in conflicts best practices and have a proactive work ethic.
Annual Salary (US$): 150,000-160,000 /annual
