Position Description:
A historic law firm seeks a Intellectual Property Paralegal to support several attorneys within the New York office. This role will involve conducting IP searches for due diligence projects, drafting and filing related documents, and preparing reports regarding pending patent and trademark applications. The IP Paralegal will be responsible for monitoring dockets, maintaining portfolios, and tracking upcoming due dates and deadlines, as well as following up on outstanding matters. This person will also be tasked with communicating regularly with clients, personnel from the USPTO, outside counsel, vendors, and other external parties as well as maintaining case files and relevant materials.
Required Skills:
The person selected for this position will have at least four years of relevant paralegal experience, knowledge of USPTO procedures, and proficiency with related IP databases and applications. This person must be a team player, adaptable to changing demands, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced setting. Strong communication and organizational skills are also required.
Annual Salary (US$): 90,000-110,000 /annual
