Position Description:
An international law firm is seeking a Senior Research Librarian to join the New York office. This position will be responsible for performing advanced legal and business research with a heavy focus in corporate transactional and securities law. This role will involve assisting attorneys and business services professionals with research queries, research strategy, and resource identification, as well as providing training on library best practices. The Senior Librarian will also be tasked with designing guides and resources regarding the firm’s research offerings and participating in the evaluation of resources to determine necessary purchases or upgrades.

Required Skills:
This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree and an MLS from an accredited graduate program and/or JD from an accredited law school is strongly preferred. A minimum of 5 years of related experience as a research librarian in an Am Law 100 firm or similar environment is required. The Senior Research Librarian must possess a strong knowledge of M&A research as well as experience working with transactional attorneys. The candidate must also be able to work in a team-oriented environment as well as independently.

Annual Salary (US$): 100,000-140,000 /annual
