Position Description:
A leading law firm is seeking a Manager of Administrative Assistants to oversee the successful management of the legal support team. This role can reside in the firm’s New York, Boston, or Connecticut locations. This role will involve ensuring that staff members are appropriately assigned as well as tracking attendance, approving vacation requests, and coordinating coverage during short and long-term absences. The Manager will assist with the recruitment process, including interviewing candidates and hiring new employees, developing training, and evaluating ongoing development needs. This person will also be tasked with conducting performance evaluations, resolving employee relations matters, and serving as a trusted advisor to team members and management.
Required Skills:
The firm seeks a detail-oriented professional with 6+ years of experience working in a staff management capacity in a law firm. The qualified applicant will have a strong work ethic, superior leadership and organizational skills, and a diplomatic approach. The firm seeks someone who has familiarity with human resources best practices, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to set a positive example within the department.
Annual Salary (US$): 130-165K /annual
