Position Description:
A full-service law firm in New Jersey seeks a Bankruptcy Paralegal to support the attorneys’ day-to-day activities. The role involves drafting and reviewing documentation, docketing, preparing court filings and bankruptcy motions, and any other duties as necessary. The position requires collaboration with clients and staff as well as dependability in working independently.
Required Skills:
The firm is seeking a qualified candidate with a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience. The Bankruptcy Paralegal must possess strong knowledge of filing through the CM/ECF filing system in all bankruptcy courts and strong verbal and written communication skills. In addition, familiarity with bankruptcy law and principles, court pleadings, and other related matters is needed. The Bankruptcy Paralegal should also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to maintain confidentiality, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or other related software
Annual Salary (US$): 100-125K /annual
