An outstanding law firm is seeking an experienced, career-track Litigation Paralegal who will contribute as lead paralegal on large, complex cases. The Litigation Paralegal will perform all elements of litigation case management, including file management, case calendaring, discovery, and trial activities. The Litigation Paralegal will liaise between case team attorneys and support staff as needed to ensure that case-specific paralegal services are meeting the team’s expectations. In addition, this individual will interact with outside entities, such as the courts, expert witnesses, corporations, vendors, and other law firms to gather information or coordinate activities as needed in support of firm activities, specifically trials and arbitrations.
The firm is seeking a qualified candidate with a minimum of five years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal as well as a bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certification. The individual in this role must possess knowledge of procedures for electronic filing documents in federal and State courts and have experience preparing for and attending trials, arbitrations, and hearings. The Litigation Paralegal should be proficient in Microsoft Office, PACER, LexisNexis, Westlaw, and e-discovery database. The candidate must possess excellent communication and organizational skills, including the ability to work concurrently on a variety of projects with changing priorities.
Annual Salary (US$): 110,000-130,000 /annual
