Position Description:

An outstanding law firm seeks a Director of Human Resources to play a firm-wide leadership role; this position can be based in Hartford, CT or Midtown Manhattan. This person will be responsible for full HR administration, including talent acquisition, performance management, benefits administration, training and development, and employee relations. The HR Director will be tasked with implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, including handling performance issues and disciplinary procedures. This role will also involve onboarding new hires, overseeing the compensation process, and ensuring compliance with all employment, insurance, and benefits laws and regulations.

Required Skills:

This role requires a bachelor’s degree and seven or more years of experience in a strategic HR leadership position. The firm seeks a candidate with excellent communication, organizational, and analytical thinking skills, as well as the ability to effectively resolve conflicts and serve in a supervisory capacity. The HR Director should also have thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations, experience building out an HRIS system, and the ability to serve as an HR subject matter expert.

Annual Salary (US$): 171K-180K /annual
