Position Description:

A highly collaborative law firm seeks a Litigation Docket Specialist to work closely with other professionals within the Managing Clerk’s Office. This role will involve providing procedural support to litigation attorneys, including conducting research on rules and regulations, retrieving and delivering documents to the courts, and performing service of process. This person will be responsible for performing electronic court filings for state and federal district and appellate courts. The Litigation Docket Specialist will also be expected to assist with other administrative projects as related to the firm’s docketing operations.

Required Skills:

The firm is looking for a candidate with at least four years of experience working in a large law firm and a general level of knowledge of court rules and procedures in New York state and federal courts. This individual will have excellent organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate also has an understanding of court docketing procedures and overall best practices for a Managing Clerk’s office.

Annual Salary (US$): 80,000-90,000 /annual
