Position Description:

A prestigious law firm seeks a Payroll Coordinator to prepare and process payroll for the firm’s New York office. The Coordinator will oversee semi-monthly and monthly payroll, coordinate payroll initiatives in collaboration with human resources, and review payroll documentation for accuracy through the UltiPro system. Additionally, this position will involve generating journal entries for each pay period, maintaining employee payroll records, and assisting employees with resolving any payroll issues that may arise.

Required Skills:

The firm seeks a candidate with three or more years of payroll experience. He or she must have superior customer service skills to patiently and effectively address any payroll concerns from employees. Attention to detail is necessary along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; candidates with an understanding of ADP or Ultipro will be preferred.
