Position Description:

A terrific law firm seeks a qualified Litigation Paralegal to assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including motion practice, discovery, appeals, trial, and post-trial. This role includes responsibilities such as preparing document productions, organizing trial witness files and trial notebooks, and creating and maintaining trial exhibits and deposition databases. The person in this position will be tasked with conducting research, cite checking briefs, and contributing to trial preparation. It is also important that the Litigation Paralegal captures and records billable time in accordance with firm policies.

Required Skills:

It is preferred that applicants have a BS/BA from an accredited college and/or a paralegal certificate as well as three or more years of relevant experience. This person should have knowledge of the CPLR and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and experience handling multiple attorneys with full caseloads. The ideal candidate is a professional who can exercise good judgment and follow through on assigned tasks. The Litigation Paralegal should also exhibit a positive, helpful attitude and the ability to maintain confidential information.

Annual Salary (US$): 80,000-110,000 /annual
