Position Location: Newark, New Jersey
A New Jersey law firm seeks a System Administrator to play a hands-on, leadership role within the IT Department. This position will involve overseeing the installation of new servers, patches, and server software, spearheading any upgrades or replacements, and working with vendors as needed. The System Administrator will be responsible for monitoring the performance of current systems, evaluating new products, and recommending purchases to senior leadership. This individual will also be tasked with documenting internal processes, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical guidance to staff, in addition to coordinating disaster recovery plans.
The firm seeks a self-starter with at least four years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree and/or technical diploma in an IT field. This individual must be able to exercise strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to maintain a professional demeanor during stressful situations. Technical proficiencies include: Azure Active Directory; Microsoft Active Directory; SCCM; Windows Server; VMWare; Citrix XenDesktop; and Cisco.
Annual Salary (US$): 101K-110K /annual
