Position Description:
An international law firm is seeking a Litigation Business Development Specialist to join a talented team of professionals in New York, Washington, DC, or California. The role involves supporting practice group leaders in the development and execution of marketing plans to enhance awareness and secure new business opportunities. The BD Specialist will coordinate the preparation of new proposals, track and maintain significant matter information, and assist with website updates and the creation of brochures. Other duties involve coordinating client webinars and events, developing client mailing lists, and drafting submissions for relevant directory listings and awards.
Required Skills:
The team requires that a candidate have a bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications, and no less than two years of experience in a marketing/business development capacity within a law firm or professional services setting. The ideal candidate will have great interpersonal and communication skills as well as effective time-management and multitasking abilities. It is preferred that the candidate have a detail-oriented approach and strong computer skills; familiarity with InterAction and/or Adobe is a plus.
Annual Salary (US$): 80,000-95,000 /annual
