Position Description:
A leading global law firm is seeking a Project Specialist to support their IP Department with critical docketing functions. The role will involve reviewing and docketing incoming correspondence and faxes, updating and maintaining the CPI database, and assisting with IP filings. The Project Specialist will prepare and update client lists, maintain and monitor all incoming mail, and proofread related documents. This person will be responsible for ensuring all dockets are closed out before deadlines, preparing requests for missing documents, and proofreading client reports, as well as distributing docket reports to attorneys on an ongoing basis.
Required Skills:
The firm requests a candidate with a bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience, a thorough knowledge of IP docketing procedures, and a minimum of four years of experience in a law firm. This person must have excellent organizational and written communication skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, and interact well with clients. Familiarity with USPTO filings is hugely important as well as flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet the demands of the position.
Annual Salary (US$): 85,000-115,000 /annual
