Position Description:
A terrific law firm is seeking a Trademark Docketing Clerk to work closely with attorneys in the IP Practice. This person will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the firm’s IP database as well as tracking domestic and foreign trademark applications. This position will involve analyzing documents and correspondence to determine relevant deadlines, conducting research, and distributing reports and findings. The Docketing Clerk will also review and process mail and office actions, process registration certificates, and respond to inquiries from attorneys, clients, and other professionals.
Required Skills:
The firm seeks an individual with at least two years of docketing experience, with a preference for candidates with familiarity with domestic and international trademark procedures. This person should have strong technical, communication, and analytical thinking skills, as well as keen attention to detail. The Docketing Clerk should also be able to prioritize assignments, meet deadlines, and work well independently.
Annual Salary (US$): 70,000-90,000 /annual
