Linda Lease, C.P.C.
Linda Lease, C.P.C., the firm's principal, has been placing legal professionals since 1981. After graduating from Pace University, she worked as a legal recruiter at two prestigious legal search firms. She then founded Lease & LaBau in February 1990.
Linda has established her reputation in legal placement by helping law firms and corporations in New York secure outstanding candidates and helping candidates secure competitive positions.
Her extensive knowledge of the legal marketplace allows her to meet the needs of clients and candidates alike through the understanding of industry market trends, salaries and benefits. A past sponsor of the New York City Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators, Linda has participated in many focus groups and has been a speaker on numerous panels. She has served on the boards of numerous not-for-profit programs and has chaired many charitable events. She is presently a member of Plant A Seed Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to search for creative projects which enable the efforts of individuals, families, schools, churches and communities.
Linda is surrounded by a competent and dedicated staff, all of whom have had successful careers in prominent law firms before joining Lease & LaBau. Gloria Geraci, Managing Director, has over 18 years of experience in Executive Recruiting.
Gloria’s prior experience working in the Human Resources department of a major international law firm has been one of her strongest assets, as she understands both the needs of her clients in the legal field as well as the needs of her candidates seeking a career transition within that field. Bringing with her a background in legal as well as a wealth of knowledge of the rapidly evolving field of recruiting, Gloria joined the Lease & LaBau team in 1996. For 18 years, Gloria has specialized in getting to know her candidates and clients and building lasting relationships along the way. She is known in the industry for consistently providing her clients with the knowledge and personal assistance they have come to depend on from Lease & LaBau, and her candidates with the guidance needed to find their perfect career fit. Her personalized and focused approach continues to help clients achieve their hiring and business goals and helps candidates obtain positions in which they can build their careers.
Christina Scott joined Lease & LaBau, Inc. as a Recruiting Assistant in September 2011. She joined the firm shortly after earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Hispanic Studies from the College of William & Mary. With limited knowledge of recruiting or the legal industry, Christina quickly learned from the expertise of the more experienced recruiters. She utilizes social media and her networking talents to ensure that her candidates are aware of new and exciting opportunities in their respective fields. She has embraced the recruiting industry successfully and is now the Recruiting Administrator of Lease & LaBau, Inc.
While earning her undergraduate degree, Christina served as the President of the Student Assembly and was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority.
Ciara Coughlan earned her degree in Human Resources and began her career in the field in her home country of Ireland. She relocated to New York and began working at Lease & LaBau, Inc. as a Recruiting Assistant in May 2014. Ciara has since grown into an integral member of the team and contributes tremendously to assisting candidates during their search for the right opportunity.
Ciara is able to effectively utilize her knowledge of Human Resources best practices, and her experience working in a fast-paced setting allows her to understand the culture of law firms. She excels at developing and maintaining positive relationships with her candidates, and provides a high level of client service. Candidates find Ciara to be approachable, professional, and responsive.
