Position Description:
This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) and 10+ years of payroll experience, including several years in a supervisory capacity, as well as a deep understanding of payroll laws. This person should have proficiency in Excel and Workday in addition to the ability to manage, train, and evaluate other payroll professionals. Additionally, the Senior Payroll Manager should be able to delegate assignments, enhance internal systems and processes, and provide reporting to Senior Leadership.
Position Requirements:
The Senior Payroll Manager will be responsible for leading payroll operations and payroll personnel for the firm’s domestic and global offices, ensuring that payroll is processed in an accurate and timely manner. This person will review payroll reports, ensure compliance with payroll tax laws, and handle any employee changes, deductions, garnishments, and benefit-related adjustments. This role will also be tasked with driving continuous improvement efforts to enhance operations, ensuring accurate and timely ACH and tax file submissions, and overseeing Workday system upgrade testing and implementations.
