Position Description:
An affordable housing developer/investor is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join the in-house Legal Department. This position involves supporting attorneys with all facets of transactions, including entity formation, corporate upkeep and due diligence, as well as communicating key deal milestones to attorneys and stakeholders. The Paralegal will be tasked with preparing signature page packets, organizing closing indices and binders, and attending deal closings, in addition to finalizing deliverables. This person will also conduct legal research and support special projects.
Required Skills:
This position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least six years of paralegal experience with a focus on corporate transactions. The qualified applicant will demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to manage several concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment. The organization seeks a team player with a proactive work ethic who can represent the organization to outside parties.
Annual Salary (US$): 140,000-160,000 /annual
