Position Description:
A global law firm is seeking a Public Relations professional to join the firm as an Associate Director of Public Relations. This multi-faceted and visible position will involve securing media coverage for attorneys, preparing press releases and thought leadership, and executing strategic media campaigns. The Associate Director will collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement communications plans for all practice areas, draft award submissions for legal publications, and ensure the placement of attorney-produced articles at various publications. This person will also be tasked with establishing relationships with journalists, meeting regularly with attorneys to discuss their PR goals, and tracking the success of departmental initiatives.
Required Skills:
The firm seeks a PR professional with at least seven years of experience in a law firm, professional services setting, or agency. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a detail-oriented approach, and excellent proofreading and research abilities. This person must be outgoing, client-service-oriented, and capable of establishing positive rapport with attorneys, colleagues, and media professionals. This individual must also be proactive and able to manage independent projects in a fast-paced setting.
Annual Salary (US$): 200,000-270,000 /annual
