A law firm with global accolades seeks a Competitive Intelligence Coordinator to work closely with the Competitive Intelligence Manager. This position will involve conducting a high volume of research as related to current or prospective clients, market changes, and industry updates, and then synthesizing these findings in Word documents or PowerPoint presentations. The Competitive Intelligence Manager will be responsible for tracking and analyzing any trends, patterns, or inconsistencies, updating the experience database, and proactively monitoring business news and legal publications. The person in this role will also contribute to the identification of new business opportunities and revenue potential across a variety of practice areas.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, highly developed research skills, and at least two years of related experience in a law firm or professional services setting. The person selected for this opportunity will demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with others, a team player attitude, and strong project management skills. The firm seeks an applicant with proficiency with a variety of research databases as well as Microsoft Office programs; familiarity with pivot tables and statistical analysis is preferred.
