Position Description:

A successful law firm seeks an Assistant Manager of Marketing and Business Development to support the Director of BD with the management of daily and strategic marketing operations. The person in this role will be responsible for updating online content, practice descriptions, client alerts, newsletters, and other marketing content, as well as preparing and revising tailored RFPs. This position will involve meeting regularly with attorneys to discuss client development goals, conducting research, and gathering competitive intelligence in order to capitalize on new business and cross-selling opportunities. Additionally, the Assistant Manager will aid in event planning, CRM administration, and the coordination of speaking engagements.

Required Skills:

This position requires a bachelor’s degree and five or more years of legal marketing experience; previous experience in a supervisory capacity is preferred but not required. The qualified applicant will possess a detail-oriented approach, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others. He or she should be able to manage competing priorities effectively while exercising sound judgment and serving as a leader to other members of the department.

Annual Salary (US$): 121K-130K /annual
