Position Specialty: Business Development
Position Location: New York, New York
A prosperous global law firm seeks a Senior Business Development Specialist to support attorneys across a variety of practice areas, including Litigation, Financial Services, and International Arbitration. This individual will contribute to a variety of marketing initiatives, including pitch and proposal creation, research and competitive intelligence, brand management, client retention, and event planning. This role will involve assisting attorneys with the determination of business plans, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and preparing legal directory submissions. The Senior Specialist will also liaise with the PR team, mentor junior team members, and recommend ways to enhance systems and processes.
The qualified applicant will have a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of legal marketing experience; previous exposure to international arbitration is preferred but not required. The person selected for this opportunity will demonstrate a team player attitude, highly effective communication and project management skills, and the ability to establish fruitful relationships with attorneys. He or she must also have strong software abilities and prior success crafting pitches, proposals, and awards submissions.
Annual Salary (US$): 101K-110K /annual
